The Taman Dayu Club mengalami mimpi buruk. Dalam dua hari, salah satu golf course terbaik di Indonesia itu dikuasai oleh "bajak laut". Bisa dibayangkan, aroma kengerian dan kebengisan merebak di setiap sudut The Taman Dayu Club. Meski pada akhirnya, tawa dan bahagia memecah malam. Kok?
Bum! Suara dentuman meriam itu memecah Minggu (25/5/08) pagi di The Taman Dayu Club. Asap putih melambung, menari di angkasa. Panglima "bajak laut" Johny Budiono terpaku memegang obor yang sedetik lalu menyulut meriam.
Begitulah. Sabtu & Minggu (24- 25/5/08) lalu "bajak laut" menguasai The Taman Dayu Club. Namun, bajak laut kali ini tidak membawa ketakutan seperti sosok bajak laut yang sering disaksikan di bioskop atau film-film Hollywood, melainkan justru membawa kebahagiaan. Karena "bajak laut" ini hadir sebagai tema perayaan Ulang Tahun The Taman Dayu Club ke-13, dengan tema Pirates of the Golf Course.
Seperti temanya, pada dua hari itu, semua yang ada di The Taman Dayu Club beraroma "bajak laut". General Manager The Taman Dayu Club yang biasanya berbusana sporty, pada Sabtu lalu memilih ber-scraf merah berlogo tengkorak. Begitu juga dengan awak The Taman Dayu Club yang lain. Mereka menghiasi kepalanya dengan scraf hitam dengan logo yang sama.
Pada Minggunya, aroma bajak laut lebih kuatn terasa. Johny berbusana bak Johny Deep yang berperan sebagai Capt Jack Sparrow dalam film The Pirates of Caribean. Lengkap dengan "sepatu boot" dan "pedang" ala bajak laut terselip di pinggangnya. Awak The Taman Dayu Club yang lain pun tak mau kalah. Mereka membawa kekhasan bajak laut dalam busana mereka. Caddy misalnya. Busana mereka layaknya awak kapal bajak laut.
Tidak hanya itu. Di salah satu hole green The Taman Dayu Club, tepatnya di Hole #13, rumput di bentuk logo HUT The Taman Dayu Club ke-13. Panggung hiburan pun didesain layaknya arena pertempuran di tengah laut. Wow!,..
Mengapa mengusung tema bajak laut? Johny menjelaskan, semua aroma kesangaran versi bajak laut ini adalah penggambaran dari angka 13, angka ulang tahun The Taman Dayu Club. Bagi sebagian orang, angka 13 adalah angka yang menakutkan dan membawa sial. "Tapi tidak bagi Kami, menurut Kami, angka 13 adalah angka yang menguntungkan, kita semakin optimis untuk melangkah ke depan dalam tahun ini," katanya.
Bukan omong kosong, diulangtahunnya yang ke-13, The Taman Dayu Club menggelar turnamen golf bertema yang sama, Pirates of the Golf Course. Dan bagi 400-an peserta yang bergabung dalam turnamen ini, berpeluang mendapatkan berbagai keberuntungan. Selain trophy hadiah total senilai Rp.1 milyar lebih disiapkan.
Termasuk rumah mobil, tiket pesawat pulang pergi untuk rute Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai & Beijing sampai pada tabungan bernilai Rp. 100 juta, bagi golfer yang berhasil melakukan hole in one. Dan yang paling "menggoda" adalah Super Grand Prize berupa satu unit mobil Daihatsu Xenia yang secara khusus dipersembahkan oleh The Taman Dayu Club.
Uniknya, "bajak laut" The Taman Dayu Club juga "menyerang" penduduk sekitar The Taman Dayu. Mulai daerah Sidomulyo, Gunting, Dayurejo, Suwayuwo, Bulukandang, Ketanireng hingga Sukolilo. "Serangan" itu berbentuk pemeriksaan dan pengobatan gratis bagi warga setempat, yang dimulai pada 6 April 2008 lalu, dengan bekerjasama dengan Siloan Hospital Surabaya.
Pengobatan gratis kedua digelar 24 Mei 2008 lalu. Kali ini, PT. HM Sampoerna memberikan dukungan penuh. Akibat "serangan" itu, 700-an warga tujuh desa berhasil diobati secara gratis. "Sekali lagi, ini sebagai bukti The Taman Dayu Club tidak melupakan jika kita adalah bagian dari masyarakat sekitar," kata Johny.
Petualangan bajak laut di The Taman Dayu berakhir pada Minggu malam. Ketika di ujung acara gala dinner yang meriah dengan hiburan bertema bajak laut dan penyerahan hadiah itu, Johny "Capt Jack Sparrow" Budiono membelah kue ulang tahun The Taman Dayu Club ke-13. The Taman Dayu Club pun terbebas dari bajak laut...
When The Pirates Dictated The Taman Dayu Club
A nightmare came into The Taman Dayu Club. In two days, one of the best golf course in Indonesia had been under” pirate’s” spell. Terrifying and barbaric aroma spread out in each corner of The Taman Dayu Club. Despite, laughter and joy broke the silent of night in the end.
Bum! The booming of cannon smashed Sunday morning (25/5/08) in The Taman Dayu Club. White smoke was going up and dancing to the air. The “pirate” general, Johny Budiono stared at the moment while was holding a torch, who fired the cannon a minute ago.
It was the day on Saturday and Sunday (24-25/05/08) when “the pirate gangster” took a control of The Taman Dayu Club. They were not the pirates who brought the horror just like in Hollywood movies; in fact, they give full of joy. The pirate concept was used as a fun theme for the 13th The Taman Dayu Club celebration which had a name Pirates of The Golf Course.
In line with the theme, everything was in pirate style for two days. General Manager of The Taman Dayu Club who normally wears sporty outfit chose red scarf with skull logo as well as The Taman Dayu Club’s crews. They put black scarf with the same logo decoration on their head.
The pirate atmosphere was getting stronger on Sunday. Like Johny Deep as a Captain Sparrow in The Pirates of Caribbean film, Johny Budiono wore a costume to get the image. It was also completed with boot and sword was inserted his waist. Another The Taman Dayu Club’s crew also got the rhythm by copying the pirate style to their costume. Just like a caddy did who dressed in a very pirate way.
It was not enough. One of the green holes in The Taman Dayu Club, specifically hole#13, the grass was formed into a logo of The 13th of The Taman Dayu Club anniversary. The stage had a design touch to be similar with a sea battle arena.
Why it took a pirate theme? Johny explained that all cruel sensation which were very identical to pirate was the depiction of number 13, the number of The Taman Dayu Club’s birthday. It is often associated with bad luck and scary. “But not for us. We think that number 13 is a luck number and we are more optimistic to move forward during this year”.
It was not a gimmick in its 13th birthday that The Taman Dayu Club held a golf tournament with same theme, Pirates of The Golf Course. About 400 golfers had a chance to win a lot of luck such as, trophy and prize with more than one billion Rupiah. Including, house, car, return flight ticket for Sidney, Tokyo, Shanghai & Beijing route also 100 million Rupiah savings, for golfer who could successfully made hole in one. And the most tantalizing was one car unit of Daihatsu Xenia Super Grand Prize proudly presented by The Taman Dayu Club.
The unique thing also took a place around The Taman Dayu Club. The community surrounded The Taman Dayu Club from Sidomulyo, Gunting, Dayurejo, Suwayuwo, Bulukandang, Ketanireng and Sukolilo experienced “the pirate attack” of free check-up and medication on last April 6, 2008 in association with Siloam Hospital Surabaya.
The second free medication program was held on May 24, 2008 which was fully supported by PT. HM Sampoerna. As a result, 700 people from seven villages had had free health care program. “This is a proof of The Taman Dayu Club as not forgetting our self as a part of community”, Johny said.
The pirate adventure was end on Sunday night. At the end of an exciting gala dinner with entertainment pirate theme and prize giving, Johny “Capt Jack Sparrow” Budiono cut birthday tart of The 13th of The Taman Dayu Club and the club was eventually free from pirate attack..
