Berlalunya "bajak laut", tidak membuat The Taman Dayu club terlepas dari "ancaman". Karena dalam waktu dekat, ada beberapa serbuan event yang dikemas secara istimewa.
Bukan The Taman Dayu Club kalau tanpa gebrakan event. Itulah kalimat sakti yang menjadi "detak jantung" dua divisi penting di The Taman Dayu CLub itu. Apalagi kalau bukan Marketing Communications dan Sales Executive. Karena itulah, awak di dua divisi itu berpikir keras untuk membuat "serangan" baru setelah "bajak laut" berlalu.
"Hingga akhir tahun ini ada tiga event besar akan kami gelar," kata Melania Octavianti, Marketing Communications Manager The Taman Dayu Club. Golf Adventure pada Agustus, Golf Turnament dengan Mix Live Band Entertainment dan Year End Golf Tournament.
Serangan pertama, Golf Adventure memang bukan event baru. Acara yang mengajak member dan guest untuk bermain golf sekaligus berpetualang ini memiliki keunikan yang selalu dirindukan. "Kita akan mengajak golfer bermain golf di luar The Taman Dayu Club, pilihan Golf Adventure kali ini ke Pulau Batam dan Pulau Bintan," kata perempuan yang akrab dipanggil Leni ini.
Yang membedakan event ini dengan event sebelumnya adalah panjangnya waktu pelaksanaan. Bila biasanya hanya berjalan dua hari, kali ini bisa sampai 3 hingga 4 hari. "Semua keperluan akan kami siapkan, mulai transportasi, akomodasi dan kebutuhan petualangan lainnya," jelas Leni.
September mendatang, serangan kedua akan dimulai. Meski temanya masih dirahasiakan, Leni menjelaskan, serangan pada bulan ini adalah membidik golfer muda, atau semua golfer yang memiliki jiwa muda. "Saya yakin, semua golfer akan menyambut event ini, kita tahu, ada semangat muda membara di jiwa mereka," ungkap Leni.
Year End Golf Tournament menjadi serangan akhir tahun. Event ini lebih pada penghargaan The Taman Dayu Club pada members dan regular guest yang hingga saat ini semakin setia dengan The Taman Dayu Club. Terutama, banyak sekali member dan regular guest dari Surbaya harus rela menyisakan energi untuk "menembus" areal semburan lumpur panas Lapindo untuk datang ke The Taman Dayu Club.
"Kita menyadari, golfer masih memiliki banyak pilihan selain The Taman Dayu Club, tapi golfer masih tetap setia, The Taman Dayu Club akan memberikan penghargaan karena hal itu," kata Leni. Penghargaan yang dimaksud adalah berbagai hadiah seperti perjalanan ke Pulau Bali, Pulau Batam dll. "Semua akomodasi ditanggung oleh The Taman Dayu Club," katanya.
Olivia Marhalim, Sales Coordinators The Taman Dayu Club lain lagi. Perempuan yang akrab dipanggil Liv ini menjelaskan "serangan" pada bulan Juni bertajuk Junior Tournament. Acara yang digelar bekerjasama dengan Axa Financial ini akan digeber tiga kali dalam satu tahun.
"Selain untuk menjaring junior membership, The Taman Dayu CLub juga ingin menawarkan kepada perusahaan yang mau bergabung dengan join tournament dan gatering coorporate," katanya. Dalam event ini juga akan diajarkan teknik golf di driving range, sekaligus praktek teory baru golf dengan ditemani golfer profesional.
Sedikit berpromosi, Liv menjelaskan kelebihan menggelar acara di The Taman Dayu Club. Bermain golf sebagai menu utama, bisa dicombine dengan makan-makan di resto dan bar yang langsung menghadap lapangan golf bertaraf international. "Belum lagi fasilitas penginapan, waterpark, dll, untuk memnunjang acara," katanya.
Untuk golfer perempuan, The Taman Dayu Club menyiapkan membership Srikandi. Selain One Year Term dan Junior Membership serta Driving Range Membership yang terbuka untuk siapa saja.
Summer Fun Pakage yang dilakukan setiap Minggu, kata Liv, bisa dimanfaatkan oleh group perusahaan atau komunitas yang ingin bersama-sama menikmati sensasi bermain golf. "Jelasnya jauh lebih murah dari harga normal, dengan minimum, 20-50 orang (pax),"jelasnya.
Yang paling menarik adalah Paket Play and Stay. Paket yang segera dilaunching ini mengkombinasikan golfer yang ingin bermain dan menginap di The Taman Dayu Club. Acara ini pas dengan golfer dari luar kota bahkan dari LN yang ingin mencoba keunggulan The Taman Dayu GOlf. "Info tentang ini bisa didapatkan di travel agent terkemuka di kota besar Indonesia," katanya.
Last but not least, The Taman Dayu juga dipercaya untuk menyelenggarakan tournament dari perusahaan terkemuka. Dalam waktu dekat, PT. Petrokimia akan menggelar internal tournament dengan jumlah peserta hingga 120 orang. "Artinya, bila ada nstansi lain yang berminat, TDC siap sewaktu-waktu," jelasnya.***

Another Attack after The Pirate Passed
As the “pirate” passed, it has not made The Taman Dayu Club free from the “threat” because a number of event “attacks” will be specially released soon.
Don’t call The Taman Dayu Club without a series of breakthrough events. The line has been a mantra for two important divisions of Marketing Communications and Sales ExecutiveThe Taman Dayu Club therefore, all the crews of both of divisions must pour extra concept to create new “attack” after “pirate” icon has passed.
“We have three big events until end of the year,” said Melania Octavianti, Marketing Communications Manager The Taman Dayu Club. Golf Adventure in August, Golf Tournament featuring Mix Live Band Entertainment and Year End Golf Tournament.
First attack of Golf Adventure is not new event. The tournament challenging member and guest to play golf as well as to experience the adventure spirit has uniqueness will always be longing for. “We take golfer for playing golf outside The Taman Dayu’s golf course, which is for this time, Batam and Bintan Island is the choice,” said woman familiarly called Leni.
One aspect makes this event different with the previous one is the duration of conducting the tournament. Normally, it takes two days but, it will last three to four days. “All accommodations are in our responsibility such as, transportation and another adventure necessities”, Leni explained.
Next September, the second attack will be started. Although the theme is still secret, Leni explained that the attack this month is targeting young golfer or all young-spirited golfers. “I believe all golfers will be enthusiastic in welcoming this tournament. Youth spirit is enthused inside their soul”, Leni said.
Year End Golf Tournament is the last attack in the end of this year. The event is more aimed to give reward for member and regular guest of The Taman Dayu Club who has loyalty to the club. It is shown by their willingness to have extra energy to reach the club in the middle of Lapindo’s mud flow, Sidoarjo.
“We know that golfer has many choices not only in The Taman Dayu Club. But, when we see their faithful, The Taman Dayu Club is urged to present the reward for our loyal member,” said Leni. The reward is trip to Bali or Batam. “The Taman Dayu Club takes responsible for all the accommodations”, she said.
Olivia Marhalim, Sales Coordinators The Taman Dayu Club has different strategy. Liv- her nick name- explains that the “attack” in June will bring Junior Tournament theme. The event is in association with AXA Financial and will be held three times a year.
“It is intended to draw junior membership also to offer corporate in joining with join tournament and corporate gathering,” she said. Golf technique in driving range will be in teaching program as well as practicing new golf theory guided by professional golfer.
With little promotion act, Liv says the advantage of using The Taman Dayu Club as a good place for having an event. Playing golf is a main course which can be combined with having interesting dine at restaurant and bar taking view to international golf course. “Also supported with many facilities such as hotel, Water Park etc,” she said.
For female golfer, The Taman Dayu Club provides Srikandi membership consists of One Year Term program, Junior Membership and Driving Range Membership open for any participants.
Summer Fun Package is active on Sunday. Liv says the program is good for company group or a community which want to enjoy the sensation of playing golf. “It’s definitely cheaper than normal price with 20-50 people in minimum (pax),” she explained.
The most interesting offer is Play and Stay Packet. A soon-launched packet combines playing golf and staying at The Taman Dayu Club. The packet is suitable for golfer from out of Pandaan even for foreign golfer who want to try the excellence of The Taman Dayu Club. “You can get more information about the package in travel agent in over big cities in Indonesia,” she said.
Last but least, The Taman Dayu is honored to conduct golf tournament of leading company. Soon, PT Petrokimia is going to have internal tournament participated by 120 golfers. “It is a sign for The Taman Dayu Club to always be stand by for another institution”, she said.
